Ahead of his keynote presentation at the 2025 Annual Conference of the International Society for Reproductive Genetics & the Hunan Medical Association Reproductive Medicine Committee, A/Prof Hassan Bakos began his China tour with a strategic visit to the country’s largest ART centre: the Reproductive & Genetic Hospital of Citic-Xiangya.
The visit, coordinated by Heranova, marks a major milestone in the introduction of Felix™, Memphasys’ next-generation sperm separation device, to the Chinese fertility sector.
“It was an honour to meet with several of the clinic’s key clinical leaders and showcase what Felix™ can offer in a real-world setting,” said Hassan.
As part of the visit, Hassan delivered a comprehensive lecture on the Felix™ System, covering the scientific and clinical rationale behind its development, followed by a live demonstration of how the device is used in practice. The session was well-received by clinic staff, who engaged with the technology and its potential applications for improving patient outcomes in assisted reproduction.
This visit represents the start of a wider program of engagement throughout China, supporting Memphasys’ ongoing partnership with Heranova to bring Felix™ to market across Asia.
