Memphasys has expanded the European commercial footprint of its Felix™ System into Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland through an exclusive agreement with Nordic fertility-technology distributor NOVIVITAE ApS.
The agreement provides a structured route into five established assisted-reproduction markets. It carries minimum contracted purchases of €526,500 across three agreement years, following a three-month evaluation period. An initial order valued at €20,625, together with three Felix™ consoles, is to be supplied and invoiced in the September quarter.
Why the Nordic agreement matters
The five new markets take Felix™ commercial activity or agreements in Europe to nine countries, alongside Italy, the United Kingdom, Türkiye and Poland. The expansion gives Memphasys a broader base from which to build clinic engagement and recurring cartridge demand.
Each Felix™ procedure uses a single disposable cartridge. This means the commercial opportunity depends not only on placing consoles, but on clinics adopting the system and using it consistently. The agreement supports that progression through quarterly ordering requirements and rising minimum purchase commitments after the evaluation period.
The latest comparable country-level data identified by Memphasys recorded approximately 55,000 assisted reproductive technology treatment cycles across the five Nordic countries in 2020. That period was affected by COVID-19 and is a historical benchmark, not a current market forecast.
A partner focused on laboratory adoption
NOVIVITAE supplies products and services to IVF clinics and sperm and egg banks across the Nordic region. Its role will include product demonstrations, training, scientific workshops, clinic engagement and first-line customer support.
These activities matter because regulatory access and a signed agreement do not by themselves establish routine clinical use. The next commercial steps are distributor training, market-development planning, clinic demonstrations and conversion of interest into utilisation and repeat cartridge orders.
What to watch next
- Completion of the three-month evaluation period
- Clinic demonstrations and onboarding across the five markets
- Commencement of quarterly minimum purchase commitments
- Evidence of repeat cartridge orders as clinic utilisation develops
